Superlooks has notified the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom. All Data collected by Superlooks will be processed in accordance with the UK laws on data protection, in line with the Eight Data Protection Principles (see below) as laid out in the Data Protection Act 1998 (as amended) (“the Act”). 1.    Agreement to Privacy Policy

1.1    We are committed to protecting any Data that we collect concerning you.  By using our services you agree to the use of the Data that we collect in accordance with this Policy. If we make changes to this Policy we will notify you by updating this Policy on our Website.
1.2    We collect the minimum amount of information about you that is commensurate with providing you with a satisfactory service.  This Policy indicates the type of processes that may result in data being collected about you for the purpose of the Act.  Your use of this Website gives us the right to collect that information.
1.3    Owing to the global nature of the Internet infrastructure, the Data provided may be transferred in transit to countries outside the European Economic Area that do not have adequate protections in place regarding the Data and its use as set out in this Policy. 2.    Information Collected

2.1    If we collect your data such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth or shopping history (“the Data”), the Data will be used by Superlooks.com to communicate with you with regard to the operation, maintenance, and functionality of the Website.
2.2    We may collect any or all of the information that you give us depending on the type of transaction you enter into, including the Data together with further data about your use of the Website to help us develop and improve it further.
2.3    We will also require your credit/debit card details when you are placing an order online in accordance with the Terms of Sale.  However, this information will not be retained by us.  Data in relation to credit/debit card payments is processed by SAGEPAY and HSBC provides Merchant Services on a secure website linked to our Website. SAGEPAY has its own terms and conditions and privacy policy. After you place your order we would pass your name, address, email address and order number to SAGEPAY over a secure link and once passed on, their terms and conditions will apply and they will be liable thereafter.
2.4    Other information that may be required from time to time to process a request may also be collected as indicated on the Website.
2.5    In some cases we will ask your age for competitions, prize draws or newsletter sign ups and you can also provide us with telephone contact details. This information is optional.
2.6    Data will be stored on Superlooks server in a database for the duration of two years after which time the Data will be archived and kept for seven years.

12.3    If Superlooks is sold or integrated with another business, the Data may be disclosed to the Superlooks advisers and any prospective purchasers, their advisers and new owners of the business. We will handle the transfer of Data securely in accordance with this Policy.

13.    How Secure Are We?
 
13.1    Our payment system is handled by SAGEPAY.  A sign of security is, as previously stated, shown by the SAGEPAY logo and in your browser by a padlock symbol that will appear in the bottom right of the window. When you see this it is confirmation that all of your information is being encrypted and is safe from unwanted third parties.  Your security and confidence in us is of utmost important to us.  
13.2    As such, we never see or store your credit/debit card details at any time. All information that is stored on our Website, such as your billing address and delivery details are for our use only and we DO NOT pass these on to third parties (save as in clause 2.3 above). This information is also highly encrypted at the highest level possible to ensure none of your login details or information can be seen by an unwanted third party.
